Job Summary:
The Director of Information Technology will manage and direct the company's IT operations, infrastructure, and security along with ensuring the department provides efficient and effective technical support service.

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Provides strategic direction in the development and implementation of the IT infrastructure, security, services, and support.
• Identify and implement best practices for optimizing IT costs, improving system performance, and ensuring service-level requirements are met.
• Responsible for creating yearly capital and operational IT budgets, managing support renewals, and hardware and software procurement.
• Establishes and implements IT policies and procedures.
• Manages projects and leads in the development and implementations of POCs.
• Develops and maintains relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.
• Manages the help desk with a focus on outstanding customer service and continuous service improvements.
• Manages the Azure infrastructure, on-premise ESXi servers, and line of business applications including ProLaw and iManage.
• Design, document, and participate in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery testing.
• Oversees security of systems, networks, applications, and data.
• Facilitates IT security audits or investigations.
• Hires, trains, and handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
• Schedules, organizes, and assigns projects to members of the IT team and consultants.
• Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
• Position may require working nights/weekends to provide after-hours support.

Technical Skills/Abilities:
• Microsoft Azure, Intune, and Office 365 Administration.
• Solid understanding of networking principles, LAN/WAN configurations, and OSI model.
• Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2/2016 and VMware ESXi 6.7 administration.
• Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPOs.
• Fortinet FortiGate firewall and Ruckus switch experience preferred.
• Cisco phone system.
• iManage and ProLaw experience preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency and drive for results.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage deadlines.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Process oriented with an ability to utilize technology to add efficiency to processes.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, or relevant experience required.
• At least 5 years of experience managing an IT department.
• Experience in a law firm or professional services preferred.
