Intellectual Property boutique law firm with 16 attorneys and 25 staff across 2 office locations seeks Law Office Manager. Accounting or finance degree strongly preferred. This position actively reports to and participates with the managing partner in the firm’s operations and coordinates closely with outside CPA. A successful candidate will have law office management experience, strong accounting knowledge, and ability to execute a variety of administrative and management duties, including working with outside vendors, overseeing an administrative office staff, and interacting with the firm’s clients, attorneys, paralegals, and staff.
Responsibilities:
Client billing & accounting Client cost advances Processing & recording client payments Resolving billing discrepancies Firm accounting, including IOTA trust accounts Firm accounts-payable Reconciling bank statements Miscellaneous tax filings/payments Coordination with outside CPA/accounting firm Extensive reporting of financials, projections, and productivity Human resources management Payroll Processing Vendor management Requirements and Skills:
Law office management experience, required Degree in accounting or finance, strongly preferred Excellent accounting & bookkeeping skills, required TABS3 proficiency, preferred QuickBooks proficiency, preferred Advanced Excel proficiency, required Strong organizational and communication skills, required Multi-tasking skills in a high-volume environment, required Daily in-person attendance, required Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
